Richard, a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 1984, has been actively involved in the growth and planning of our area as an Architect, Planner, Contractor and Developer, as well as being appointed to serve on the Manatee County Planning Commission for 22 consecutive years from 1992 until 2014.
Presently, Richard is responsible for long range planning, securing government entitlements and development, design and layout for Lakewood Ranch. He is a Supervisor of the Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District, Board Member of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance Government Affairs Committee, a member of Leadership Manatee 1993, and a Rotary Past President.
David manages a Women’s Wealth practice for Halliday Financial. He is passionate about being a resource for his clients and ensuring that they and their families are prepared not only for all the good that life has to offer, but also for the unexpected. As a result of losing his father at a young age and experiencing firsthand how a family can be impacted, he is particularly attuned to the importance of ensuring that both spouses are actively engaged in the oversight of their family’s wealth. Importantly, David is able to use his personal experiences to work effectively with widows and their children – both from an emotional and a practical perspective. In working with families, business owners and young professionals, David is able to bring over 2 decades of experience to bear to assist with a variety of issues ranging from the traditional – investment planning, estate and tax planning – to the not so traditional – balancing work and life, living a life of purpose, evaluating residential and commercial real estate deals, business transactions, private equity, employer/employee issues, etc.
David is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a CFP® professional. Additionally, he is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Florida. David is involved in his community and has been involved with the following organizations: Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Manatee County Humane Society, Tidewell Hospice, Leadership Manatee, United Way.
Darren joined the Bradenton Herald in June 2013. He has a vast advertising sales and leadership background having spent the majority of his career with McClatchy. He started in 2000 as an account executive with the Miami Herald and progressed through management at the Miami Herald, Charlotte Observer and New Haven Register. Darren holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from the University of Miami. He is very involved with our community serving on various boards and committees including: The Manatee County Chamber of Commerce Better Business Council, Manatee High Schools capstone program and the Golden Herald’s. Darren is a nearby resident of Lakewood Ranch in Greyhawk landing.
Violeta is responsible to actively recruit for potential employment opportunities, and build relationships with employers and community leaders to enhance graduate’s opportunities for success. Prior to joining Keiser University, Violeta worked in the banking industry as Private Banking Officer at US Bank overseeing all areas of relationship management of high net worth individuals. In addition to serving on Tidewell’s Board, Violeta is also serving on the board of The Lakewood Ranch Alliance, CareerSource Suncoast, on the Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida and is a member of Lakewood Ranch Community Fund -Giving Circle. Violeta is a Co-Chair of the Programing Committee with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and a Graduate from the Leadership Sarasota County class of 2013. She is a past member of the education committee with The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, past host for the LunchwithLeaders Group, past advisory council member for First Federal Bank of Florida, past mentor with Take Stock in Children, was a Sun Coast Technology Forum Board Member in 2011-2012 and Vice Chair with the American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2012. She received the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance 2013 and 2014 Sandies Award, 2012 Chairman’s Award, for best exemplifying dedication and commitment to enhance the Alliance and business community. Violeta and her husband of 25 years, Mark, are the parents of Ashley, an RN at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Thomas, attending MTC and Jacob a junior attending Braden River High School.

Shari is a well-versed entrepreneur, business owner, speaker, trainer, management consultant, business advisor, wife, and mother of 5 boys.
Prior to executive coaching Shari began her career as a sales representative in the telecommunications industry, continuing to gain experience in the business world and eventually becoming the Vice President of Telecommunications at an Architecture & Planning company. In 2003, Shari started E-Rate Exchange at the age of 29 to work with schools and help them with their funding for technology. Over the last 11 years, Shari has grown this company into a multi-million dollar nationally recognized consulting firm with more than 400 clients in over 33 states. Shari has developed tools to help her team define the culture and core values, and restructure the organization from a hierarchy to a flat organization. In 2012 Shari and her family moved to Florida where she continues to run E-Rate Exchange. She has transitioned her responsibilities and empowered her team so that the firm operates in New York while she is in Florida.
Shari is also President of DOSH Technology Partners, and Internet marketing company. A new project of Shari’s is the development of DOSH Holdings, which is a property management company that focused on the procurement and management of residential and commercial real estate. She maintains these roles while she continues to further her career in coaching with DOSH Management, Inc. which is a training and development company that help other organizations bring structure, leadership, and communication tools that help bring their organizations to the next level.
Throughout her experience, Shari has realized that the journey from point A to point B is not a straight line, but a road filled with bumps, challenges, and learning opportunities along the way. Shari has found purpose in helping others learn to embrace these events and transform them into success, and believes that implementing the right culture is essential to a company’s success. Chris, a resident of Manatee County, joined Northern Trust on October 7, 2002. He was previously with M&I Bank, as a Senior Vice President for 8 years, with responsibilities in Commercial Lending. Chris attended the University of South Florida, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. He is also a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Chris has been or is presently active in The Humane Society of Manatee County, Chairman; South Manatee Sertoma, Past President; American Red Cross, Past Chairman – Manatee Chapter; Executive Committee Member and Co-Sponsorship Chairman of the Ringling Museum’s UnGala Gala. He is a graduate of the Leadership Manatee Program.

Garrett earned his B.S., and his fifth year of accounting, from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant practicing in both tax and audit planning and consulting.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Garrett is married to Janel, a teacher at Palmetto High School and registered nurse. They reside in Lakewood Ranch.
Amanda hails from Wisconsin, but moved to the Lakewood Ranch area in 2002. Amanda attended high school at Cardinal Mooney in Sarasota and obtained her undergraduate degree in English at the University of Florida. She graduated as a valedictorian of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences while also being active in Alpha Chi Omega sorority and UF Student Government. Amanda completed her education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, serving as a Notes & Comments Editor for The Florida Law Review and graduating Order of the Coif.
Amanda joined the law firm of Blalock Walters, Manatee County’s oldest and largest law firm, in 2013. She practices in commercial and residential real estate law, with a focus on commercial leasing, commercial transactions, and residential real estate. She is also a licensed Florida real estate agent.
Amanda co-founded Cheers for Charity, the sixth women’s giving circle under the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation. Composed of nearly twenty young professional women, the circle is dedicated to supporting local charities through personal donations and public fundraising. She has served on the LWRCF’s Grants Committee for the past two years and is thrilled to join the Board of Directors. Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors for the Manatee County Young Lawyers Division.
