Richard, a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 1984, has been actively involved in the growth and planning of our area as an Architect, Planner, Contractor and Developer, as well as being appointed to serve on the Manatee County Planning Commission for 22 consecutive years from 1992 until 2014.
Presently, Richard is responsible for long range planning, securing government entitlements and development, design and layout for Lakewood Ranch. He is a Supervisor of the Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District, Board Member of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance Government Affairs Committee, a member of Leadership Manatee 1993, and a Rotary Past President.

David has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years. During his tenure, he has worked with some of the world’s largest investors as well as people just trying to figure things out; he has bought, operated and sold businesses, so he knows the struggles and rewards business owners face; and he has been involved in both commercial and residential investment real estate. He has helped his clients not only with their investments, but with tax, estate, creditor, business and a variety of other issues. Most importantly, he has become a resource that his clients have been able to turn to so that they can delegate their financial concerns and focus on making the most out of actually living their lives.
David has authored articles for Investopedia as well as a number of other publications. David has a BS in Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Florida. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and a CFP® credential.
David and his wife Debbie live in Sarasota, Florida. During their free time, they enjoy traveling with friends and family and spending time with their four-legged family (3 dogs and too many horses to count).
Violeta is responsible to actively recruit for potential employment opportunities, and build relationships with employers and community leaders to enhance graduate’s opportunities for success. Prior to joining Keiser University, Violeta worked in the banking industry as Private Banking Officer at US Bank overseeing all areas of relationship management of high net worth individuals. In addition to serving on Tidewell’s Board, Violeta is also serving on the board of The Lakewood Ranch Alliance, CareerSource Suncoast, on the Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida and is a member of Lakewood Ranch Community Fund -Giving Circle. Violeta is a Co-Chair of the Programing Committee with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and a Graduate from the Leadership Sarasota County class of 2013. She is a past member of the education committee with The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, past host for the LunchwithLeaders Group, past advisory council member for First Federal Bank of Florida, past mentor with Take Stock in Children, was a Sun Coast Technology Forum Board Member in 2011-2012 and Vice Chair with the American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2012. She received the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance 2013 and 2014 Sandies Award, 2012 Chairman’s Award, for best exemplifying dedication and commitment to enhance the Alliance and business community. A 2014 winner of numerous awards for most employer outreach and community partners relationship building, building tomorrow’s leaders; winner of the 212 degree award for 2010 and 2012 for leading with values and achieving excellence through commitment and passion.
Violeta and her husband of 25 years, Mark, are the parents of Ashley, an RN at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Thomas, attending MTC and Jacob a junior attending Braden River High School.
Chris, a resident of Manatee County, joined Northern Trust on October 7, 2002. He was previously with M&I Bank, as a Senior Vice President for 8 years, with responsibilities in Commercial Lending. Chris attended the University of South Florida, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. He is also a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Chris has been or is presently active in The Humane Society of Manatee County, Chairman; South Manatee Sertoma, Past President; American Red Cross, Past Chairman – Manatee Chapter; Executive Committee Member and Co-Sponsorship Chairman of the Ringling Museum’s UnGala Gala. He is a graduate of the Leadership Manatee Program.

Garrett earned his B.S., and his fifth year of accounting, from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant practicing in both tax and audit planning and consulting.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Garrett is married to Janel, a teacher at Palmetto High School and registered nurse. They reside in Lakewood Ranch.
Amanda hails from Wisconsin, but moved to the Lakewood Ranch area in 2002. Amanda attended high school at Cardinal Mooney in Sarasota and obtained her undergraduate degree in English at the University of Florida. She graduated as a valedictorian of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences while also being active in Alpha Chi Omega sorority and UF Student Government. Amanda completed her education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, serving as a Notes & Comments Editor for The Florida Law Review and graduating Order of the Coif.
Amanda joined the law firm of Blalock Walters, Manatee County’s oldest and largest law firm, in 2013. She practices in commercial and residential real estate law, with a focus on commercial leasing, commercial transactions, and residential real estate. She is also a licensed Florida real estate agent.
Amanda co-founded Cheers for Charity, the sixth women’s giving circle under the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation. Composed of nearly twenty young professional women, the circle is dedicated to supporting local charities through personal donations and public fundraising. She has served on the LWRCF’s Grants Committee for the past two years and is thrilled to join the Board of Directors. Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors for the Manatee County Young Lawyers Division.
