Dear Friend of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund:
We are proud to announce our first annual “Eat. Drink. Give Thanks. Be Generous.” Wine Soiree and would love for you to be a part of its success through a sponsorship opportunity! This event is scheduled for Thursday, October 27 at Esplanade Golf and Country Club at Lakewood Ranch and will feature wine stations and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Ticket prices are $125.00 a person.
The first of many to come, this special annual event will serve by not only being a significant fundraiser for the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund, but also to celebrate and award our nonprofit grant recipients for 2022 and to award and recognize our Humanitarian of the Year.
Naturally, the expenses that surround holding an event with this level of impact for our community are substantial. That’s why we depend on the support and generosity of our sponsors through a range of sponsorship levels included in this packet. Whether it’s by being a food sponsor, entertainment sponsor or table sponsor, your involvement will directly create more lifechanging opportunities to local nonprofits and enhance the quality of life in and around Lakewood Ranch.
I hope you will consider supporting this fun and meaningful event. There are many ways that you and/or your business can help as outlined on the attached sponsorship sheet. Participation is easy, the benefits are aplenty, and the results are worthwhile!
Thank you for your consideration!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Bookhamer, Executive Director
Lakewood Ranch Community Fund (the Fund) plays a vital role in championing a community that benefits all through its support of life-changing nonprofit organizations and causes embedded across the area. The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund, originally created in 2000 by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch (the original developer of Lakewood Ranch), supports people and interests through generous donor contributions that stay within this rapidly expanding region. And, just like Lakewood Ranch’s rapid growth, we’ve transformed into a charitable organization that stands on its own — both living here and giving here.
The Fund, in early 2021, received its own 501(c)(3) exemption after spending the past 20 years of its existence working closely with the Manatee Community Foundation to achieve its mission. This new exemption status marks a new beginning for an organization with more than two decades of history. Since its inception in December 2000, the Fund has granted over $1.4 million to some 100-plus nonprofit organizations to directly impact the lives of local residents.
